Studies continue to show the benefits of organic products.  In the Fall issue of The Organic Report, the News & Trends section features an article on this subject.  It examines recent findings of a study conducted by the University of Aix-Marseille in France, commissioned by the French agency for Food Safety. 

The study confirmed “…the high nutritional quality and safety of food produced using organic practices.”*  The benefits include more dry matter, minerals and antioxidant micronutrients than non-organic counterparts.  In addition, the study showed that 100% organic foods have “…significantly lower amounts of nitrates and residues of toxic chemical pesticides, fungicides and herbicide.”*

But, production processes also have a direct influence on the quality of a juice.  The basic rule is: the fewer steps in the production and the lower the processing temperature, the higher the nutritional value of the juice.  Biotta extracts juice from healthy, field/vine-ripened fruits and vegetables.  Competitors often store vegetable juices in tanks to be bottled as needed.  The result is that these juices are repeatedly heated and the quality is diminished.  Biotta bottles our juices immediately after extracting the juice.

And Biotta juices are never reconstituted from concentrates, and no artificial additives (preservatives, vitamins) are used.  Biotta juices are 100% organic, fresh from the field to the bottle.  Great care is taken throughout the growing and production processes to ensure our customers receive the freshest juices available on the market.
