Why we add sugar to Elderberry Juice...

Wednesday, July 14, 2010 by Mitch B
If you have spent much time reading up on our juices, you may have seen that our Elderberry Juice is our only juice to which we've added sugar.  There is a very simple reason behind that...

Berry juices such as elderberry are naturally very strong and sour tasting.  Sugar is added for drinking pleasure.  The flavor is enhanced with appropriate tea blends and/or the addition of unrefined sugar or agave juice to neutralize acids.

The sugar used is 100% natural and the healthiest way to improve the flavor of our juice!

Since we're on the topic of Elderberry Juice, did you know that it is packed full of Vitamin C and great for building up your immune system!

For more information on this or any of our other fresh juices, check out the website! And if you have a question you want to need answered, check out the FAQ page or shoot us an email!
